Voice/TTD in New Jersey TOLL FREE, CONFIDENTIAL, 24-HOURS A DAY

Welcome to the CONTACT COMMUNITY SERVICES Homepage!

What is CONTACT? CONTACT is people helping people. Trained volunteers offer a listening ear, guidance, and information and referrals to community services to anyone with a problem or concern. CONTACT offers a caring human voice to someone who is considering suicide, as well as to someone who is just lonely, when no one else seems to be there to listen. All calls to any of CONTACT's hotlines are confidential and the caller has the right to remain totally anonymous.

The mission of CONTACT Community Services is to help persons in crisis or need by providing empathetic active listening or information and referrals in a confidential, non-judgemental manner.

To fulfill our mission, CONTACT administers five independent programs:

The CONTACT Crisis Line (856) 795-2155

What are some of the signs of a person considering suicide?

How can I help a friend who I believe is considering suicide?

What are the signs of depression?

How can I deal with stress in my own life?

How's your self-confidence? (and how to boost it)

You are our visitor since November 5, 1996. We're glad you're here.
