As I come to the end of my career as a homeschooling mom, I thought I'd share the knowledge I've gained with others. I hope that the success that we've had in our endeavors will encourage others that they can freely homeschool their children and not be plagued by the doubts that prevent parents from pursuing this option. I spend a lot of time on the phone talking to new or prospective homeschoolers and I thought this blog would give me a chance to share the themes that I find myself discussing again and again. Our children are Brian - now in college, Hillary - on the verge of graduating to full time work, and Joshua who is attending High School in a Performing Arts program. At some point maybe I will ask them to write some of their reflections on homeschooling but for now I hope you enjoy reading about what I have learned. Will my child get into college?
